Over the years, GoTa Ship Management has developed towards more and more external focus in relation to technical consulting. Our competence cover mainly roro, container, and general cargo vessels but we also have a history and experience within the off shore segment. We are well positioned to offer support with projects and vessel inspections / surveys This is what we are planning to continue doing as we have a real passion for vessels!
We acknowledge that trust is built over time and that’s why we are especially proud of long term partnership with major players within the Scandinavian forest industry taking full scope care of their vessels. We are equally happy for new customers that give us responsibility to carry out inspections of vessels, plan and carry out dockings and conversions or develop new technical solutions on board.
In-house we have long term experience in project management, vessel design, vessel conversions, and dockings and vessel modifications. Our experience cover areas such as engine performance, electrical systems, propulsions, environmental assessments, life cycle cost (LCC) and Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) and much more. On a regular basis we carry out vessel inspections on behalf of potential buyers, perform damage surveys, assessments and surveys. We carry out complex technical projects that run over several years with many involved parties including research and development but are also standby for your vessel inspection or audit. It always comes back to the need of our customer and partners.
For the parts of the projects that we run that need additional external resources, we have a well-developed contact network within the industry. All our vessels complied with MLC 2006 well in advance before the convention entered into force in 2013.
